The Fruit Of The Tree, The Apricot Itself, Is A Drupe, Which Means The Flesh Of The Fruit Surrounds A Pit Or “stone,” Which Contains The Seed. Apricot Fruits Are Generally 1.5-2.5 Cm In Diameter And Are Soft Yellow To Deep Orange In Color, With Velvety Skin And A Sweet, Juicy Flavor. Apricots Are Most Commonly Enjoyed As Fresh Fruit, But Are Often Dried Or Preserved.
